Joseph L. Brownlee, Esq. has been an Arizona Trial Attorney for over thirty years, and has tried numerous Jury Trials throughout the State of Arizona in State and Federal Courts, as well as in Federal and State Appellate Courts.  Mr. Brownlee graduated in 1972 from Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana and was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1980.

    Mr. Brownlee’s practice focuses on three areas of law:

· Representing and advising large and small businesses in all legal matters of importance to the success and prosperity of businesses.

· Representing, advising, and assisting individuals throughout Arizona in civic, consumer, and legal affairs.
 
·Representing clients in Federal and State Courts throughout Arizona that are being investigated or have been charged with a criminal offense.   Mr. Brownlee is a veteran criminal defense attorney in State, Federal, and Military Courts throughout Arizona.



    
Mr. Brownlee is a national speaker on current legal issues, future legal trends, and courtroom strategies.
 
Mr. Brownlee is a long-time Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem and Court-appointed Arbitrator.  In 2003, Mr. Brownlee was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the North Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.  He is also General Legal Counsel to New Era Children’s Foundation, Maricopa County Fair, and Arizona Showman’s Association.
 
Mr. Brownlee is also active in numerous Arizona civic and community matters and the State Bar of Arizona.
